BMW wheel bolt types
The two main types of wheel bolts used on BMW vehicles are:
- M12x1.5, 60 ° taper, 27mm thread, 17mm hex.
- M14x1.25, 60 ° taper, 27mm thread, 17mm hex
The M12x1.5 wheel bolts were mainly used on vehicles up to 2010 (before F models) and then switched over to M14x1.25 once they started building F model vehicles.
